Welcome to the Outdoor Education Program at the Tiffin Centre
At the Tiffin Centre, one of our most important purposes is to provide a quality and innovative Environmental Education & Outreach Program for the students and residents of our watershed. In our custom-designed educational and recreational programs, we make as many connections to the Ontario Curriculum as possible, yet most importantly, we give students the opportunity to connect with the natural world. Our student-centered approach to learning provides many opportunities for students to investigate first hand the environment in which they live. Students will gain a better understanding and sense of appreciation for all living things as they explore, experience and enjoy the Tiffin Centre.
Our connections to the Ontario Science & Technology curriculum are extensive. To provide a more holistic approach, we have also integrated the arts, social studies, health and physical education, literacy and numeracy into our programs.
