Christmas Bird Count for Kids

Explore the Tiffin Centre’s working sugar bush and learn about indigenous, pioneer and modern-day maple syrup making through stories and hands-on activities. We'll also study the fascinating world of tree science.

March Break Monday Children's Program

Kick off March Break at the Tiffin Centre!

March Break Monday is a family-friendly outdoor adventure.

Tour Tiffin’s maple sugar bush and visit the Sugar Shack to see how maple syrup is made. Then try snowshoes and kick-sleds, make a craft, see how far you can throw a snow snake, and explore the Tiffin forest with a scavenger hunt. 

If the weather warms up we'll trade the snowshoes and kick-sleds for birding and orienteering programs!

Spring Tonic Maple Syrup Festival

A springtime tradition! Visit our sugar shack to learn how maple syrup is made, then enjoy a pancake breakfast with sausages and Simcoe County maple syrup.  Enjoy wagon rides, live music, a Zoo-to-You show and more. 

Event runs April 7 & 8, 2018.
