We've opened up our Tiffin Conservation Area group campgrounds to families! These campgrounds are usually only available to approved groups. 

​If your family is looking for fresh air and a getaway from the everyday, don't miss this chance!

Cost and registration

The cost per night is $100 for the first 5 family members, and $30 for each social circle member thereafter for a maximum of 10 campers. A minimum stay of 5 nights is required.

Only one family (or social circle) is permitted on each camp site, each family will have exclusive use to their own washroom facility (no showers on site).

Camping fees include firewood and access to potable water. To ensure the safety of our visitors, a minimum of 24 hours will be scheduled between groups.

​​Smoking is only permitted within the parking areas at the Tiffin Conservation Area and alcohol is not permitted. Families will be provided with parking passes to NVCA’s other Conservation Areas.

What is there to do at Tiffin Conservation Area?

Located less than 15 minutes from Barrie (or less t​han an hour from the GTA), Tiffin Conservation Area offers 17 km of hiking trails, beautiful ponds, wetlands and meadows for your family to enjoy.  Best of all, it provides much needed solitude from the city life and a great location for your family to pitch a tent.

Use the Tiffin Conservation Area’s campground as the starting point to explore the Nottawasaga Valley watershed. Our watershed is known for its kilometers of freshwater beaches, hiking trails and many other outdoor, recreational opportunities, including fishing and scenic views along the Niagara Escarpment.
