DIGITIZATION ASSISTANT – approximately 12 month contract
The NVCA is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual looking for a rewarding, exciting and great contract employment experience to join us in the role of Digitization Assistant.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, key responsibilities include scanning and digitizing NVCA records while ensuring document security, confidentiality are maintained with reference to our retention policy.
Ideally, the incumbent has a minimum of a secondary school diploma, and a minimum 1 year general office clerical experience in handling physical documents such as photocopying and scanning documents. Experience in analyzing and interpreting environmental data is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and proficient with MS Office and able to learn in house software quickly.
This is an approximately 12 month contract position. Remuneration is $16.00-$18.00 an hour dependent on experience and involves a 35 hour work week.

Calling for carpentry volunteers
Help us get ready for our annual Fort Willow Festival!
We will be using mortise and tenons and other pioneer construction techniques to build and repair structures. Not sure how? Don't worry!

Requirement: basic carpentry skills, steel toe boots, self-starter
Time: Every Thursday from 10am - 3pm
