​​​​​​On October 28, NVCA will be meeting with the Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP), as part the series of the pre-consultation meetings that MECP is holding with all 36 conservation authorities and municipalities. The pre-consulting meetings are held for an opportunity to outline the delineation between mandatory and non-mandatory services and activities, how these are currently funded, and their connections and benefits to local municipalities’ priorities and the Made-in-Ontario Environmental Plan
