Date: Wednesday, July 20, 2022 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Location: Minesing Wetlands Natural Area
Are you tired of sticking to the straight and narrow? So is Willow Creek! Join NVCA and the Nature Conservancy of Canada for a wet and wild day of installing wing deflectors made of upcycled Christmas trees along Willow Creek in the internationally significant Minesing Wetlands.
Once installed, these wing deflectors will give Willow Creeks its “wiggle” back by giving the stream its natural meander (s-shape) back and acting as habitat for fish and aquatic bugs! Be ready to get wet, work hard and have fun!
