Suspecting a flood?
Is it raining a lot, or is the snow melting really fast? Is there an ice jam near you?
NVCA monitors weather conditions and river flows to determine if there is a risk of flooding. If there is, we issue flood messages to alert municipal flood coordinators and the public about flood risks.

NVCA maintains the Pretty River Dike and Black Ash Creek Floodway to protect low-lying areas in the Town of Collingwood from flooding.
