With your goodwill, some of the most beautiful things in life can last forever. Things like nature trails, environmental education for children, healthy rivers and streams, woodland habitats and protected natural areas.

We look to you to help us secure a sustainable environment for our future.

Donate your land

The NVCA is honoured to be the recipient of lands that have been donated by individuals, families or organizations who feel strongly that their land should be conserved for the benefit of the environment and for future generations. For those who wish to retain ownership of their property but seek future protection of it, options may include leases, management agreements or legal restrictions on title, such as conservation easements. For more information, please contact our Director of Lands, Operations & Stewardship, Byron Wesson, at (705) 424-1479 x.224 or bwesson@nvca.on.ca.

Make a bequest

Create your own legacy for conservation in the NVCA watershed. As part of your estate planning, consider making a gift to the NVCA to carry on its environmental work well into the future. The NVCA has been working hard for more than 50 years and takes seriously the responsibility of good stewardship of the environment for the future generations.

Volunteer your time

The NVCA values and recognizes the support and contribution of our volunteers. Volunteer opportunities are available on an ongoing basis through various programs including education, stewardship, events and maple syrup production. Members of the public are also welcome to join groups of like-minded individuals with a passion to protect and promote our Conservation Areas, such as the Friends of the Minesing Wetlands and the Friends of Fort Willow.
