Volunteers Needed for Tree Planting in Essa

Come out to help plant native trees and shrubs along the banks of the Nottawasaga River in Essa! Trees will help enhance fish & wildlife habitat, shade the stream, stabilize the banks and capture carbon!

Individuals, families and community groups are welcome!

PA Day Camp
Date: Friday, June 3, 2022 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Location: Tiffin Centre for Conservation


Adopted from our traditional summer camp program, this special edition of Camp Tiffin encourages outdoor exploration, guided excursions in the forest fueled by student interest. Every day will be guided by student inquiry, seasonal changes, and weather and program availability.

It is hosted at our 300+ acre Tiffin Centre for Conservation, which features a mixture of wetlands, forests, open meadows and ancient lake beds. These areas are homes for many plants and animals!

Some things we will be doing at camp include: Hiking, geo​caching, nature games, shelter building and wilderness survival.​​
