Over the past three years, Friends of Mad River and NVCA have worked together to stabilize eroding streambanks, restore side-channel habitat, and plant native trees and shrubs in Carruthers Memorial Park. Funds raised from this event will help repair restoration features damaged during this spring’s ice-jam flooding and support future habitat enhancement projects along the Mad River.
