Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineers to initiate Dam Safety Reviews for three (3) flood structures, a Floodway Safety Review for one (1) flood structure, and a Preliminary Decommissioning Assessment for one (1) flood structure.
Sealed proposals will be received by the undersigned on behalf of the NVCA as follows:
Bidders are encouraged to use electronic means for delivering proposals. Electronic proposals will be delivered in a PDF format with “Confidential – RFP #01/2024 Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority Safety Reviews of Flood Structures” in the subject line. For hard copy delivery, one (1) hard copy is to be submitted, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Confidential – RFP #01/2024 Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority Safety Reviews of Flood Structures”.
The completed proposals will be received until 4:00 p.m. local eastern standard time on October 25 2024, by:

Proposals via fax cannot be accepted.
This time and date will be deemed to be the closing of the proposal. Late proposals will not be considered.
Please note that the lowest proposal will not necessarily be successful or accepted. The NVCA reserves the right to accept any proposal or to reject any or all proposals. NVCA reserves the right to accept more than one contract.
The selection is anticipated to take place by the second week of October with the successful bidder being notified after this time. Only the successful candidate will be notified.
