Fishing Permits
Getting an NVCA fishing permit
NVCA Fishing Permits are required on NVCA-owned portions of the Minesing Wetlands, from the McKinnon Road access point to the Nottawasaga River. There has been a significant increase in fishing activity throughout the watershed and requiring a fishing permit allows NVCA to have a better understanding of the fishing pressure at this particular location.
The proceeds from the sale of NVCA’s Fishing Permits goes directly to the Conservation Lands programs and maintenance of NVCA’s conservation areas.
To apply for a permit, complete the Fishing Permit Application Form below or visit NVCA’s Administration Office. Please note you will require a fishing license through the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and must follow all seasons and regulations identified by MNRF.
