Parking Fees

Daily Parking Pass$10.00+ HST  per vehicle
Annual Parking Pass$70.00+ HST per vehicle

​Parking passes are valid in all NVCA conservation areas with the exception of Tottenham Conservation Area and New Lowell Conservation AreaVisit the NVCA Conservation Areas page for more information about individual conservation areas.

Parking is enforced during conservation area hours of operation, dawn to dusk, daily. ​​

Daily Parking Passes

Please note a credit card is required when purchasing your parking pass via phone, email or online. Cash, credit card and debit is accepted in person at the John Hix Administration Centre.

Daily parking passes can be purchased at our conservation areas, online, through the HotSpot app or by contacting the NVCA Administration Centre.​

At our Conservation Areas

  • By using the QR Code found on the signs at each conservation area

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a credit card to pay for parking with HotSpot?

You can use a credit card or debit visa to pay for parking through HotSpot.

If purchasing a pass from the NVCA administration office, you can pay by debit, cash or credit card. Over the phone purchases through the NVCA administration office do require a credit card. ​

How does NVCA know if I have paid for parking?

NVCA’s enforcement staff have tools that use your license plate to determine if you have paid for parking. To avoid a ticket, it is important that you select the vehicle you are currently driving when paying for a parking session, and make sure there are no typos when you enter the license plate information. ​

How can I change the license plate number I assigned to my digital parking pass?

You can switch the vehicle license plate number from the HotSpot website​

  1. Open a browser window.
  2. Go to htsp.ca​ and click Log In.
  3. Click the Permits tab.
  4. On your active permit, select the plate number you want to change to, and press Change.

Where can I park with NVCA’s parking pass?

Parking passes are valid in all NVCA conservation areas with the exception of Edenvale Conservation AreaTottenham Conservation Area and New Lowell Conservation AreaVisit the NVCA Conservation Areas page for more information about individual conservation areas.​

I have an NVCA hunting/fishing pass, do I still need a parking pass?

NVCA’s annual hunting and fishing passes do permit parking at designated areas where hunting and fishing are permitted. Visit our Hunting Permit and Fishing Permits pages for more information.​

I will be attending at event at an NVCA property, do I still need to pay for parking?

Venue rentals at the Tiffin Conservation Area and the Historic Fort Willow Conservation Area include the cost of parking with the venue rental. Here is more information on venue rentals. ​

I paid for parking, do I need a permit for photography?

We encourage casual photography, however professional photographers are required to obtain an NVCA photography permit. Parking fees are included in the cost of the photography permit. Here is more information on professional photography permits. ​

Can I park overnight at an NVCA conservation area?

Overnight parking is available only for visitors at the group campground. All other vehicles parked at NVCA conservation areas overnight may be ticketed and towed. Here is more information on NVCA’s group campground. ​

How long is my pass valid for?

NVCA’s Annual Parking Pass is valid for 365 days from date of purchase.

NVCA’s Daily Parking Pass is valid during conservation area hours of operation, from dawn to dusk.
