Outdoor Venue Rentals
NVCA’s conservation areas offer your group an opportunity to gather in nature: forests, meadows, ponds and wetlands. A number of outdoor venues are available to rent for private functions.

Picnic Pavilion
Location: Tiffin Centre for Conservation
Picnic Pavilion is a perfect space for a larger picnic, barbecue or other outdoor event. The kitchen includes a fridge and a sink with potable water for the warmer months. There is a wood stove for heat if needed. Picnic tables provide indoor seating for 80 people, and more can be accommodated outside.

Bernie Longson Memorial Pavilion
Location: Historic Fort Willow Conservation Area
The Bernie Longson Memorial Pavilion is a stately post-and-beam structure that provides shade and protection from the rain without distracting from the beauty of the natural surroundings. This is a lovely spot for events such as family picnics, company BBQs or a rustic wedding ceremony.

- Accessibility: fully accessible
- Amenities: picnic tables, outhouses (no running water)
Outdoor Classroom
Location: Tiffin Centre for Conservation
The Outdoor Classroom is a two-sided wooden building just down the boardwalk from the Jose Building. Sheltered from the elements, it can serve as an outdoor meeting spot, breakout room or meal area for a small group.
- Capacity: 100 bench seating, 30 table seating
- Accessibility: fully accessible
- Amenities: bench seating (other seating options may be accommodated)
Group Campground
Location: Tiffin Centre for Conservation
The Tiffin Conservation Area offers two group campgrounds for approved groups of up to 50 people. Larger groups may be accommodated with the rental of additional outdoor toilets.
The peaceful campgrounds offer plenty of flat ground for tenting and grassy areas perfect for playing games. Learn more here.
- Capacity: 50 per campground, 100 total
- Accessibility: accessible washroom (outhouse). Please contact NVCA about using an all-terrain wheelchair.
- Amenities: fire pit, stone fireplace/oven, firewood, outhouses, potable water (warm months only), pavilion, electricity, storage
